Living A Legacy
Have you ever thought that God thinks you are so amazing that he created only one of you? Well...he did! We are all made in his image....special, unique and chosen!
Have you ever walked around a cemetery after attending a funeral or graveside service for someone you know? I like to walk around the cemetery and look at the tombstones after a funeral, but ONLY when the sun is up!
I look at the dates...when they were born and when they passed. Everyone is excited for the day we are born and mourn when we go, but what about in between?
I once heard a sermon about the dash between the dates on a tombstone. What does that dash mean? How did you live your life? How do you want to be remembered?
Our daily actions and choices while on earth will affect future generations. We all have free Will to choose our own paths. Living a life according to God's word and following him in obedience will leave a legacy that is uplifting, encouraging and inspiring and will break the generational curses that keep us in bondage.
What can keep us accountable for living our legacy?
- Make God #1 in your life!
- Be a kind human! Live by the golden rule!
- Forgive others because God forgave you! Forgive yourself, we all need to!
- Don’t sweat the small stuff! Life is short!
- Count your blessings! Don’t take things for granted!
We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. You just might be the only Jesus someone sees!
If your family is suffering from the cycle of generational curses, be the one that breaks it by living a legacy!
I want to be remembered as the Proverbs 31 woman that encouraged & inspired others to know their worth, leading the lost to Jesus and one that would do anything for her family and friends!
I want to know, how do you want to be remembered?
YOU ARE ENOUGH!
God Bless,
