TIME TO FRESHEN UP……
The holidays come and go way too quickly, but knowing a New Year is right around the corner excites me! A time for a fresh start with new goals and making new memories! This New Year is a great time to take the busyness out of your schedule and daily life. Start by changing your mindset to slowing down, taking more deep breaths, smell the flowers and set boundaries. Doing this one major thing will help from experiencing spiritual, physical and mental burn out. What can you do so that you don’t go through the stressful rollercoaster of burnout?
Find time everyday to show yourself some love and self care!
First…..Spiritually! Pray and meditate on God's word daily! Beginning your day reading His word will put you in the right mindset and direction to conquer the day! If you need accountability, look to a friend or join a Bible study to assist you in growing your faith!
Second…..Physically!
Eat right…I love bread…yes all bread…I recently read a book that talked about sugar and flour being poison to our bodies. Those words spoke volumes and gave me a different outlook on when I look at bread.
Drink a lot of water: I drink a water pH level of 9.5 to help rid the toxins in my body. An alkaline body stays healthy and free of disease. Sickness thrives in a toxic body…flush those toxins out! Being sick is for the birds!
Get active…..exercise and stretch! Our bodies are not getting younger and you don’t want to be stagnate.
Did someone say SPA….a facial is definitely something you should do monthly! You are worth it….save your pennies and get one! Or reward yourself and tell your body how much you love it by getting a massage monthly!
Use your sunscreen when out in the sun! I love to lay in the sun, go to the beach and feel the warm sun on my skin! Be sure to protect your biggest organ (your skin) from burns and sun damage and cancer!
Get your beauty sleep. Sleep is essential for being productive and showing the world your best self! Trouble sleeping is something a lot of people have in common. A few things to help with this issue are lavender sprays, melatonin and sleep masks. Being a flight attendant our sleep schedule is always a challenge, but these things help!
Always be kind to yourself! You are responsible for what goes in and out of your mind, body and soul…Fill it with love, God's Grace and make self care a priority this new year!
You Are Enough!
❤️Amy
